Wala sang basehan ang mga Local Government Units (LGUs) nga mag-deklarar sang outbreak sa hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD), suno kay Department of Health Officer-In-Charge Ma. Rosario Vergeire.

“We are seeing an increase in cases, ‘pag tinignan natin for these past weeks, of HFMD. Pero wala tayong enough basis for LGUs to declare outbreaks in their areas,” suno kay Vergeire.

“These are all manageable and preventable,” dugang pa sini.
